Standalone Spinning Mass Gyro Compass

The Navigat 100 is a high-performance, standalone spinning mass gyro compass designed to deliver exceptional accuracy, reliability and cost efficiency for modern vessels. Engineered as a compact single-unit solution, it integrates all required interfaces directly within the system, enabling seamless installation and straightforward integration into both newbuild and retrofit bridge environments. Built on proven Sperry Marine technology, the NAVIGAT 100 ensures safe and compliant navigation while minimizing lifecycle costs and maintenance requirements.

All-in-one system design

Fully integrated unit with all outputs and interfaces included—no additional distribution units required, reducing installation complexity and cost.

Outstanding accuracy and performance

Provides heading accuracy of ≤ 0.4° (secant latitude) with fast follow-up rates up to 100°/sec, ensuring precise and stable heading data under all operating conditions.

Reliable operation – independent of GPS

The system operates with an independent heading sensor and does not rely on GNSS input, guaranteeing continuous performance even in degraded signal environments.

Low lifecycle costs

Designed for long service life with minimal maintenance requirements and extended gyrosphere service intervals, reducing operational expenditure over time.

Fast installation & retrofit capability

Compact footprint and compatibility with legacy systems enable quick and easy installation, making it ideal for both new vessels and retrofit projects.

Comprehensive connectivity

Multiple configurable outputs support integration with radar, ECDIS, AIS, autopilot systems, and heading repeaters, ensuring full bridge compatibility.

Certified for global operation

Type-approved according to MED, IMO, IEC and other international standards, ensuring full compliance for commercial and high-speed vessels.

Maintenance intervalls

The regular maintenance should be carried out by a authorized service technician in a 18 month circle. It is recomended that the Gyrosphere and centerpin are replaced every 5-years.
